Hey Santi, I'd say the best to reach Jog Falls is to do a combination of both, overnight bus and taxi. Jog falls is around 275km from Hampi. You can take an overnight bus from Hospet (the nearest train/bus junction from Hampi) to Karwar and cover the remaining 150km by taxi. Or you can also hire a taxi directly from Hospet to Jog Falls.
