Try to reduce your cost on stay and transportation which are the two main expenditures in travel. For stay, you can either opt to stay for free with Couch surfing app or you spend less by staying in any of the hostels. You can try hitch hiking or contacting a local friend, if any for reducing transportation costs.

Its depends on budget and where you from travelling try local transports unreserved trains coach,help from cars and bus ,local homestay or hostels,try local street food,take some essential items like tea,coffee,salt,sugar,maggie ,waterbottel which will reduce your cost and you can travel with budget
