Hampi is place of ruins, history and architectural beauty . Best time to go there is from September to February according to locals. Moreover Hampi has many temples and it's birthplace of Hanuman. Food there are normal nothing experimental. But the best thing about Hampi is it's still getting discovered. Now and then some underground temple or some business place is being found.

Hampi is a place which you must visit if you are into history, art and architecture. And even you are not into any of it, you should visit it anyway just to get the experience of it. Hampi is a heritage place. Earlier there was many Hippie life and had some different vibes. Now we have the monuments and some historical places. Sunrise and sunset is famous here. Also a drive from Bangalore is a great experience
