You can have a pleasure drive to manjoor ( outer Ooty) which is a village admist tea plantation and visit emrald lake, avalanche lake .you can even plan of visiting kotagiri which is a bit far but worth it

It's better to choose local places also and you can choose wayanad it's just 100km away from ooty and also masinagudi, gundalpett etc. also keep some winter caresses

You could take the very famous toy train from Ooty to Coonoor. The ride is breathtaking and is worth all that time spent in the train.
