Hello Sugandha I will be happy to answer your travel query . * since you are planning for a trip on last week of August , I will prefer you Mahabaleshwar . Mahabaleshwar is famous for rivers, waterfalls, ancient temples, stunning cascades, dense tropical forests, majestic peaks ,valleys and windy roads and this view just looks so dreamy in monsoon .Coorg is famous for coffee plantations ,step hills, countless streams, rice flora and fauna , lush forests and breathtaking views .it's not preferred in monsoons ,winters are the best time for this place whereas Kodaikanal is popular for hills ,also reffered as princess of hills , amazing hills and one flower which blooms once in 12 years ,it's a winter travel destination . Comparing all the three places , I would suggest you to explore Mahabaleshwar .Main thing is mountain views so better book a hotel with great view . I have a little advice for you, I just checked online and found that there are great deals available on tripoto itself, here is the link https://www.tripoto.com/mahabaleshwar/tour-packages

Thank you, that's really helpful
Hi Sugandha, all three are excellent options for end of August. How long is your vacation? And, where will you be going from? Do you prefer flying, travel by road or train to reach any of the three?

Hi, from Delhi Mahabaleshwar is the closest and Kodaikanal the furthest. But, Mahabaleshwar doesn't have much to do and see to keep you occupied for three days. Coorg is definitely my favourite. Look for trains to Mysuru and from there you can take a train or bus to Madikeri. Let me know if you need further information
Hi Sugandha, I would suggest either kodaiknal or coorg. 4 days for mahabaleshwar is too much..

Okay, thanks
Hi Sugandha, I'm in Pune and very close to Mahabaleshwar. First of all there is nothing much to explore there for 4 days, but if you just want to relax and chill in mountains, then can be good option. But as Monsoon has arrived, it rains heavily here. So you can plan accordingly. Hope it helps!
