Goa government has started its own cab facility Goa miles. Please check that once.

With family i think cabs are the best mode of communication. It will cost you around 2400-3000 depending on the size of the vehicle. You can tour old goa for a day which wherein you can also include the ferry ride for couple of hours ( this is kinda party on a boat, entertaining for the family). In old goa you have churches, donna paula old forts that will be a good outing with family.

Usually Goa Cabs association is very strict, you will get multiple options.You can either check with your hotel, or just walk around you get will plenty of options from neary-by taxi stands. I would suggest discuss with couple of vendors before finalising, also do chalk out complete schedule or places to visit.

With family, Cabs are best option. It'll also save a lot for you and also will be very comfortable for you and family.

As explained by many, yes cabs is a better option while traveling in Goa with family. If your planning tour with family please do your basic research about Sights in Goa as some of the operators show u only half of Goa and charge for both North and South tour. Goa miles app is another better option, but it will only give you option for point to point pick up and drop.

Cabs are pretty expensive. Local taxi and Goa Miles drivers also have fixed routes and packages like ₹ 1600 for 4 hrs etc. If people can drive then rented car or scooty is best.
