Normal 4+1 AC cab would cost you approx Rs.2000 for drop alone. Total would be Rs.4000. Public Transport: Salem to Yercaud is about 30 Kms and bus fare should cost less than Rs.50/- per person.
Plenty of buses ply on this route, you can catch the bus from Salem Central bus stand. My advice is to ta, e public transport. Buses are plenty on this route and it is the cheapest option Good Luck!!

Hi, you can either take a bus or hire a taxi to reach Yercaud. Many options for buses are available like Volvo, sleeper, deluxe. You can also hire a taxi if you want to travel hassle free. A taxi for a day would cost around 800 to 1000. By hiring a taxi, you can also do sightseeing in Yercaud. Some of places to visit in yeracaud- 1.Shervarayan Temple

From salem bus stand h will get bus but it's not frequent as it runs on timing based...
