Along with all the typical things to do in Pondicherry, I would suggest you to visit Pichavaram. It is quite reasonable and very off beat. You could also take surfing lessons at Kallialay Surf School on Serenity Beach

Well I studied there. The first place I would suggest you to visit is Rock Beach. An evening walk there is a must. The second is Paradise Beach, a very clean and serene beach. Next is Auroville. You should visit Auroville French bakery it is the best and it is all organic. Rent a Moped, it's not that expensive. Matri Mandir in Auroville is a must visit. You can rent a bicycle there to discover the place. There are shacks near Bodhi Beach. You can definitely stay there for a night and hear the sound of the waves while you sleep. And there are small eateries in town which are amazing as well. Zuka is one of them.

Hi, I would suggest consider staying in Samarpan Hostel, its a very neat, clean and beautiful place. Cost: 350 for single and 300 for twin sharing.Also, it is well located. Places: French Colony, Rock Beach, Promenade beach, Paradise beach, serenity beach, auroville. Eatery places: Delliwala6, L'Cafe

You can book your hotels in Treebo which comes near under 1500/- . And in pondicherry you can visit rock beach,Auroville Ashram, Paradise beach and rome around french colony. Most imp. always book your hotels near Rock beach Spending evening time near rock beach is beyond amazing
