If you are planning to visit Eravur, Habarana, Passikudah etc, then this is the best time to go, as they have two mansoon seasons, it would be raining in major cities such as galle and colombo

It’s rainy season time in Srilanka hence most of the beach activities and shops will be closed. It would be good if you decide to go after August. :)

Perfectly yes..july is good time.but plan after 15 july.if possible.nc rain there.colombo-bentota-nerualiya-all mast.if u r a veggie then 3 to 4 restaurant in colombo.must george yourself at sunmogas banana leaf sappad (tamil meals)

Late July is a good time to visit Sri Lanka but it will be hot and quite humid on west coast areas, east coast will be hot and humid too, but with less chance of rain.. ...
