I am planning to take Delhi .Manali bus on 2nd Oct (upcoming).. is it okay to travel on national holiday? everything like transport , metros are available on that day?

Yes. The local buses are available even on National Holidays. Take the local buses whether Volvo AC/non- AC from Kashmere Gate or Majnu ka Tilla
