Best beaches are from Goa u start til kanyakumari.. as Goa , gokarna, Mangalore, ernakulam, kanyakumari... n then do visit Rameshwaram n dhanushkodi..

Definately Goa or Kerala is the answer. Both the places are good in their own respective way. If you are a party animal, go for Goa but if you enjoy nature then go for Kerala. Happy travelling !!

As most of the people suggesting Goa ,my suggestion is try south Goa. You can try some less crowded beaches near Dapoli such as ladghar beach. One more option is Tarkarli.

Goa is the best option if you want to relax and enjoy the new year. Also Marari beach in Alleppy Kerala is quite peaceful and a relaxing beach. Apart from Kerala and Goa you can also visit Kashid beach in Alibag near Pune city. You can enjoy Kashid along with water sports!
