There are buses from Chandigarh to Manali, you can book through Make my trip or redbus. There are many Hostels in Manali like Zostel, Backpacker Panda, Hosteller, YOLO Backpackers. You can visit Solang Valley, Hidimba Temple, Jogini waterfalls, Manu Temple, Musuem of Himachal culture and folk art, Tibetian Monasteries, Vashisht hot water springs. Have fun!!

You can easily take bus directly to Manali from your place. Chandigarh comes in between, you can stay in Manali. From Manali you can come to kullu and explore old manali too. Do river rafting and visit manikaran gurudwara too. Eating Momos at Mall road is one of best thing over there.
You can easily get cheap hostel or hotels in manali for stay,

Hi, Manali and Kullu are great options to visit during the month of October, the peaks are covered in white snow and valleys are green. You can visit Rohtang Pass, Solang Valley, Hidimba Temple, Jog Falls. Hello, Take a train from Meerut to Chandigarh.
After reaching Station,Take a local bus to Sec 43.
From there you can get buses to Kullu or Manali.
If you have more days;then first go from Chandigarh->Shimla(2DaysEnough)->Manali(2DaysEnough)
You can return to Meerut within one week. I have covered these all;so you can ask any query if you have

Hi, after reaching Chandigarh you can easily get Volvo buses to Manali. Also you can get affordable stay through zostel/backpackers panda/ Oyo rooms. Places to visit in Manali are Solang Valley, Hidimba temple and Rohtang pass.
