Hi Shivangi, I have been travelling to Munnar since last 4 years and have stayed there for a while. Hence I can suggest you some really good locations to fit in your itinerary. In Munnar you can visit the below locations: Day 1: 1. Eravikulam National Park (8 kms from Munnar)
They take a jeep into the national park where you get a chance to spot Nilgiri Tahr- A wild goat endemic to the Nilgiri Hills and the southern portion of the Western Ghats. A lot of tourists visit this place as they get to watch these wild animals very closely 2. Devikulam (7 km from Munnar)
You will get to see tea gardens in beautiful layered patterns here. Again, you can google the pics for reference. Day 2: 2. Mattupetty (13 km from Munnar)
The mattupetty lake and dam is a very famous tourist spot. You can google the images for this location and you will get a fair idea Day 3: Munnar to Marayoor to Chinnar Not many tourists know of these locations; Chinnar and Marayoor and hence don't visit it. Basis my personal experience, I feel the route from Munnar to Marayoor is more scenic than the other places around Munnar. You can get good jungle-stays in Chinnar wildlife sanctuary which offers a very close view of wildlife; yet keeping you safe at the same time. While I have had some amazing experiences in Munnar and Chinnar, I have jotted down a select special moments and published it on my blog so as to benefit other travellers like you. Do visit Meeshappulimala or Kolukkumalai. Don't forget to visit Pambadum Shola National Park also.
1st day : Pambadum Shola National Park, Mattuppetty Indo Swiss project, Kundala dam
2nd day :
Kolukkumalai or Meeshappulimala, Munnar Top station and Kurangini view point
3rd day :
Eravikulam national park.
