Hi Diganta, December is an excellent time to visit Shillong, Cherrapunji and Dawki. You can fly to Umroi Airport, Shillong. Spend a couple of days exploring Shillong before hiring a taxi to visit Cherrapunji (80km) and Dawki (85km from Cherrapunji). You can spend a night in Cherrapunji and head to Dawki the next day. We went to Cherrapunji and shillong last year Oct first week. You can plan a 2 day stay at Shillong and 2 day at Cherrapunji. You can check my blog on the same . Excluding flight / train fare , the total cost per person for 5 day should be around 20 thousand
