Hey Vinay, The month of May marks the beginning of monsoon in Thailand, so you may find occasional showers while there. This may upset your sight-seeing schedule. You can visit Thailand all year round and the ticket prices are usually lower in May. But you may have to face frequent showers. So, expect to experience rough sea during this time.

Hi Vinay, Thailand can get very hot in summers. So, its tough to do outdoor activities during the day. Bangkok is very close to the equator and it can be quite daunting.
