I think so this it how it works.
I search for a place on Tripoto and it opens up all the post related it. I may click on say may be 10 or 20 and read the blogs. This will give each post a view. But not necessarily I go and follow the author and hence low follower count.
Initially I used to follow people but I stopped it not because I dislike their posts but because of notifications Tripoto offers. I want to get notified only when they post a new blog and not when they wish-list a trip.
