If you are planning to visit Lucknow which is on the north of Raipur here is what could be done. It takes 16 hours to reach Lucknow by road from Raipur. You could start your journey via Bilaspur and stay overnight at Beohari. On the way you could visit Gobind sagar lake, Vyas cave, Bachhretu cave. On the way before reaching Beohari you could stop by Bandhavgarh hill, Baghel museum, national park, caves and Dudu Dhara falls. Second day you could start a bit early and explore keshari falls, Gobindgarh palace, taal falls, rani Talab mandir and proceed towards Allahabad. There is lots to visit in Allahabad right from Triveni sangam, museum, fort and planetarium plus a few must visit local mandir. From Allahabad 7 hours is Lucknow. You could first stop at Sirpur for an overnight stay. On the way you could stop at Buddha vihara, Laxman temple, barnawapara sanctuary. Start day 2 a bit late after tasting great local breakfast and proceed towards Sambalpur.
