October to mid Feb . Book a hostel. If you are traveling alone I will suggest book a hostel for new friends. It’s not expensive when you stay in hostel.

I think you should go between October to December time as the weather is pleasant at that time. Currently it has started being the day super hot and I wont advice that. The hotel I stayed at was "Casa de Goa" which costed me 2K per day. Looking at the amenities,food and location which is so close to the Baga Beach I totally recommend you for your Stay.
