I'm planning to go to North Sikkim between 20th to 30th May, Can anyone tell me if it's a good time to visit North Sikkim. Also is it safe place for a solo trip along with my 3 year old son?

I am also planning this trip. May is a good time where there is no much of snow and it will be good.

Yes May is an ideal month to visit north Sikkim where you get to see spring season. Yes it’s a safe place to travel with a kid, just carry enough warm clothes for the weather in few places might turn chill suddenly. Also carry an umbrella in case it suddenly rains.

Yes generally it is safe to visit North Sikkim in this time period.. But after arrival if heavy rain happened..Than avoid but it's rare chance of heavy rain..
