Seminyak is just 20 mins from Kuta and is the most preferred place if you want to just chill in the beach.
for your 3 day iternary. i suggest you book a day trip to Nusa Penida, and another day for temples like Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, Ullu wattu etc. or Ubud. Have an awesome journey :)

Things to do in Bali
Visit Tanah Lot Temple, Uluwatu Temple, Besakih Temple, Tegallalang Rice terraces, Ubud Monkey Forest, Kintamani and Mount Batur and Goa Gajah.
To enjoy the nightlife you can head to NIght Markets, Night Clubs, Beach Clubs, Traditional fire dance performances. Some night clubs you can hit while in Bali are: Mirror Bali lounge and club, Jenja and Bounty Discotheque.
