Not been there, but have read a lot about it in Conde na traveller magazine for they did an exclusive coverage about this place some years back. Also one or two people I know have been there. From what they say is it’s a heritage spot that has history from 4th century. Norse pagan temple, Upassala museum, picnic at Hagadalen Nasta, university park are some places around while you can find lot of cafés and restraunants nearby.
I have been to Sweden but not to Viking farmstead. I think that may be a eye-catching place. If I tell you about the other places you can visit in Sweden (https://travellifo.com/things-to-do-in-uppsala/) there are many. Uppsala Castle is one of an eye catching location which will be an ideal place to propose your girl.
