Well it's a peak time to travel to kedarnath and there is always a rescue team at this time of the year. You cant travel during winters though.

Dear fellow traveler, it's monsoon time and the region around Kedarnath experience heavy rainfall and thunderstorm regularly, which led to landslides and road blocks. so in my opinion you should avoid travel to Kedarnath till the end of September.
