It could be more better if you had mentioned your location. reason being, as you mentioned low budget. but still you could explore nainital if you want mountains (2day trip will cost you around 4k including travel, sightseeing, and good budget hotel. or right now you could go for Jaipur or any other places in Rajasthan also.
You can visit the following places
Mussoorie
Shimla
Amritsar
auli
pushkar
nanital
or try some sightseeing in Rajasthan
or just search the nearest state from your place on tripoto homepage you will get all the available options
You can visit
Bangalore
Mysore
kodaikanal
some trek up North like spiti valley
uttarakhand valley of flowers
I think you should first shortlist a tentative location.
then better suggestions would crop up!
Firstly Congratulations to you
I would recommend if it's your first time you should try going to a nearby place .
assuming you to be traveling from Delhi I would suggest you can go to
Tirthan valley : it's beautiful and has a lot of things to offers camping trekking waterfalls adventure activities
Bir billing : easy to reach as direct Volvo buses run from Delhi to this place . budget travel if you want to do paragliding it will cost you 2500 ros for that rest you can manage with 1.5 to 2.5 k .
I hope this is helpful to you
have a nice trip !!
Congrats !!!
So, Basically it depends upon which part of india you live; if you live in north india:
Visit Dalhousie, amritsar, rishikesh, agra or even jaipur.
If you stay in south: Visit Bengaluru, Kerala and Karnataka has coast lines whivh are well connected by roadways buses and cheap af !
Congratulations.....For solo trips you can opt Goa for beaches Gangtok & darjeeling for mountains Lavasa pune for good resorts and kerela for greenery and nature
If you are interested in trekking then I would suggest you to visit www.indiahikes.com
They have a very good treks organized at a cheap rate and with amazing experience.
If not mountains then go to Udaipur via train, stay there in hostels for 2-3 days(probably include the day of Holi as well). You can get amazing hostels on www.booking.com
