Build a small portfolio first. Travel photography is not just about exotic locations, its about the story, the moment. When you have a reasonable portfolio start approaching travel companies/magazines
Find where you are good at photographer
content writing
etc. start posting on all social media.. use some digital marketing skills..
then your done.. i Started same..now my blog reached more than 60k+ readers... and I do gets travel sponsor
Travel solo, explore places and click n number of pics....post your travel experiencs on tripoto to start with....you may check openings with travel and lifestyle channels
Well..I was at the same point 4 months back..now I completed travelling Agra,Delhi, Jaipur,Ajmer, Mumbai, Pushkar,Varanasi, Kolkata, Hyderabad...all solo with a minimum budget....my suggestion will be to start clicking in mobile ( a mobile with good camera ).then slowly habituate to a DSLR...the main thing to remember in travel photography is explore as much as you can ... never forget the purpose you are traveling... timing will be key in many situations..check the sunrise and sunset times before visiting some places where sunrise or sunset will be magical..be early to wake-up.
most of the magical things happen either in the mornings or in the evenings..make sure you have time....my profile on Instagram is "potlagopichand"...check out the pictures so that you will get some idea about the places I traveled and the type of pictures you could get at those places
Start form your locality I believe if you can show your own place with a different prospective and and something different thn Google you can be what you are looking for
Oh this is a very cool idea. Especially, many people like to travel in small groups on a trip with a personal photograph . You are not distracted by the photo, everything is done for you by a professional. With https://masterbundles.com/ , you can send processed photos faster. People are very impatient in this sense. And with the help of this resource, you can take additions to Lightroom and process photos at the moment.
