I would suggest rishikesh , that place is beautiful no matter what season you choose to travel , the dept of culture , ritual , beleifs you will see complete India here at one place from monks to business tycon people take shelter here and people come here from different corners in search of peace and some dept answers.

Never can answer one. But here are my top picks - 1. Ladakh (surely will transport you to a different place) 2. Hampi (for the love of ancient architecture, history and ruins. Also surreal landscapes and cliff jumping. ) 3. Pondicherry (craving for some beach vibes which are also pocket friendly) 4. Mukteshwar (the lesser known hill station in Uttarakhand, away from the city hustle. Get ready to be awestruck by the panaromic views of Himalayas)
