If remote place means a place with less rush so that u can relax and enjoy, Munnar Wayanad House boat in Alleppey Coonoor These are the honeymoon destinations of south.

Hi Arnab, From where are you planning to travel to? In case you're in Kolkata, I would say that the best place to go in your budget will be Sikkim, or somewhere in North East, maybe Arunachal or Meghalaya.

Kumarakom and Alleppey in Kerela... Best in lap of nature... You can do Houseboats, enjoy Backwaters, stay in good resorts by the Vembanad lake and hit the beach in Alleppey...
