Open tripto.com, and there is an option to import your blog. It is very easy, you have to copy and paste only the specific link of that post you want to import. Dont copy just the home page link. It will be done in few seconds.
It is not necessary to completely shut down your wordpress blog. You can run both simultaneously as importing is very easy and there is no copyright issue if you import only your original content.
