Hi Srikar, it would totally depend on you how do you want to enjoy your vacations. If you like driving on some fine roads across mountains and valley you should definitely go for self drive rentals. However if you want to enojy the beauty and relax you should go for a driver. You can ask your hotel to arrange the taxi and they can do it for you.

Car rentals and taxi service is easily available from the hotels itself...i recommend you to go for car rental service...it's an awesome feeling driving with beauty around you

I had no exact idea about the travel service across New Zealand, Since Before days I had a visit to Cancun City of Mexico and I found There an amazing travel service provider Oscar Cancun Shuttle.
