There were several packages from different dealers. The best way to travel is by air. The cost per person may vary according to the dealers. But my opinion it may take 20K per person

Hi, the best time to travel to Maldives is from December to April. Maldives could cost anywhere from Rs. 3,500 (budget traveling) to Rs.5,000+ (luxury traveling) per day for two people. Maldives issues a 30-day stamp on arrival to Indian citizens. I recommend you check the political situation there before visiting. As of now, it's a bit iffy. Hi Surajit, I was there in February and can tell you that the major part of expense is dependent on the type of stay you're going to chose. If you are planning for some Private Resorts on Islands with premium beach bungalows or Water Villas, then per night charge can easily range from 10k-40k. If you chose to stay in normal hotels in Male then you can spend on exploring other things and water activities.

Maldives can give two two different prospectives, if you choose luxury resort, you just need to reach male and the rest will be taken care by resort people, ( transfer, a few activities, food) . When i say transfer, speed boats are really expensive and we cannot afford to do island Hopping :( We prefer budget travelling and booked small hotel in Hulumale. Hotel transit (8000 for 3 nights..) did a bumper water adventure :) if you are a scuba diving person Do not miss Manta point... Also we did a day visit to resort, where they charge nominal and take us to a super luxury resort and we can spend whole day there using all amenities, and bring us back by evening. So you do not miss out on luxury experience in Maldives :)
