Trek to triund ..as triund is much crowded u can go ahead upto snowline cafe or laka glacier .. its few kms uphill from triund hill (1-1.5hrs ).

Must try Tibetan food.Thupaka but try veg only coz Tibetan use to boil the meat which so may little uncomfortable to eat as we are are not used to boil meat,but veg thupka is very delesious and try momos as well.And please spend atleast 3 to 4 hours at temple you will feel vary good at temple you can also do meditation for some time.And do visit all places as mentioned by others.

Better to stay in dharmkot which is 1.5 km from McLeodganj. There are lot of homestays. You will find peace and natural beauty and lot of superb cafe in dharmkot. And shiva cafe at bagsu waterfall. Food us decent but views are awesome.
