Go to kaza as this will be a great option in 5000 so u get buses from Delhi to reckong peo, and then a bus from reckong peo to kaza. stay at cheap homestays and try to bargain a lot. stay for 2 to 3 days and then back. I'm sure it'd cost less than 5 grand

Hi, You can head to lesser explored villages like Kumaon region. You can head to Kausani, Ranikhet, Binsar. Also you will have to travel in public transport and stay at really cheap accomodation to make the trip under rs.5000

Hey Aviral, You can choose anyone of it 1)Trithan valley 2)Parvati valley 3)Mandi-Prashar lake trek-one day trek 4)Macleodganj-Triund trek -one day trek 5)Mussourie or Auli To save money take HRTC or PRTC gov. bus from Kashmiri Gate bus stand. Dnt do any prebooking of hotels. You can google for Dharmshalas and Guruduwaras in that area. And one day trek dnt book any guide.

You can visit sangla valley, chitkul, kalpa and reckongpeo..there is a bus that goes to sangla from ISBT Kashmiri gate, it leaves around 8 pm..
