Im thinking of visiting Leh Ladakh & J&K in January 2024. Would it be a correct time to visit in Jan?

Best time to visit Ladakh April to August, in January almost all hotels will remain closed, nubra and Pangong also closed during winters.

You can only see Leh and some surrounding places in Jan, most other places shall be inaccessible by road. But winters is a different thrill in itself if your health and body permits. Everything shall be white covered in snow, people might be playing ice hockey on frozen lakes, you might have more chances to spot a snow leopard and brown bears if at the right spot with the right guides.
