Hi Raman, India is vast country with many different cultures across states and regions and so Diwali is also not same across the regions / states. In kolkata you may see people flying paper lanterns and keeping the doors open while in down south there may be people busy with burning effigies of Narkasur. Ayodhya, Banaras in Uttar Pradesh call for Deepotsav and Punjab marks start of Winter with Diwali. Finally Choti Diwali is also celebrated in some parts before and after the Diwali Day. So Diwali is celebrated differently across the Cities and best Diwali will depend on where you are situated or where you are celebrating your Diwali.
