Nepal and Bhutan require 1 valid ID proof, passport is not mandatory. However if you do have a passport, there are many countries that allow Indian passport holders to enter without visa or through visa on Arrival. Thailand, Indonesia, have visa on arrival. Seychelles only needs a valid passport, no visa required for tourists.
