Khir Ganga is a small village set up through out the summers in Himachal Pradesh. It is open for 7 months in a year from March thru October. It is a beautiful day trek on a narrow cliff side path going by numerous waterfalls and few isolated villages. There is usually about 30-50 people at the village site during the high season. So yeah obviously July is good time to do this and there are many agencies who is giving good offers for this trek. Best of Luck:)
No not july. you can visit it in September September is my personal favorite month for trekking to Kheerganga. The best thing about this time period is that the crowd is very less during the month of September as compare to the other months of May and June.
The second reason is that being an off season in the valley everything becomes cheaper from Bike renting to staying in the camps.
And the last but not the least reason is the pleasant weather. This is the time when you can see the lush green meadows and the amazing waterfall on the way.
