Is anyone from the Gangtok? I would like to know the status of Gurudongwar lake. is it open?

Yes the lake is open. You need a permit. Kindly check travel rules and restrictions before booking and travelling.

I heard from a close friend of mine who live in Gangtok that the lake is open for visitors to visit.

Yes you can visit. Get your RT-PCR test done of 48 hours to enter Sikkim. The lakes need permit so make sure you get it beforehand.

Yes Gurudongmar Lake is open.. you need permit for the same.. Double vaccination certificate are enough as of now..
