Yes absolutely. Fly into Zagreb or Dubrovnik and hire a car and finish at the other end. Stop at places like rovinj, hvar and istrian peninsula.

Yes it has amazing beaches along with that it is cheap and beautiful plean atleast for 10 days and try if you can self drive
