From weather perspective, Yes it's safe month to visit. Weather will complement your trip.
But this month would give you crowdy sorrounding as well. As it's festive month. Christmas, New Year celebration, Vacation Month etc.
You may experience bit higher price for each and everything as I mentioned crowded clause, So it would demand supply game. Accordingly you can plan your trip. Have a Safe Trip.

Yes good time to visit, though the green will be less than, waterfalls will be few however natural beauty of Maharashtra will not disappoint you any time of the year... enjoy your trip.
