Yes road conditions is super good until chandigarh, after that the mountain range starts and condition of road is good except 2-3 places construction work going on near Solan. Yes it's safe as solo female, avoid night drive. Start early morning from Delhi and try reaching Shimla before sunset. Hope above info ll help you planning your next Road trip Thank You
