Yes. It is totally worth it. Just make sure that you are physically fit and are prepared enough for it. I have seen many people taking it lightly and attempting the trek with no to inadequate preparations and then regretting it. You need to build up enough capacity and stamina to able to cover around 5 hours of walk and hike with bare minimal breaks. Another thing which differentiates it from regular treks is high altitude. The entire trip is of 14 days out of which you will hike for 9 days. As for how much time you need to prepare for it depends upon your current fitness level and how many regular treks have you been to. Preparation time can range from 10-12 weeks to even a year. My suggestion is to start with improving your fitness (if you haven't already) and try to cover treks ranging from regular one day treks going all the way to a few 6-10 days winter treks around uttrakhand/Himachal. Since I'm not sure about current fitness level and trek experience, I wont be able to help with specific details till then. Ping me in case you need any help/guidance around it. -TheEconomicalNomad
