If you wanna experience the kashmiri winter in all it`s glory, now is the best time ! try skiing in Gulmarg, there`s a frozen waterfall in tanmarg, go on a shikara ride in a frozen dal, and experience the joy of a kaangri under a ferahn. Do go to winterfell cafe and Chai jai . And in regards to stays, try and stay atleast a night in a houseboat.

Yes , Winters are always a good time to visit Kashmir . Although some roads are blocked due to heavy snowfall but you can visit . Hotels depends on your budget and places which you want to visit. Please let us know these things so that we can suggest .
