I have been to meghalaya in north east during the monsoons. its beautiful, so many shades of green at just one place, u can literally feel the moist clouds all around you and the waterfalls are splashing with water all throughout.

Rainy season consider as the best season for north east. Cause you can find all waterfull full of water as well as lust greenary of the mountains. But put some rain gear with you. Cause it rains a lot.
