Kedarnath gets start snow since November last and now on it's almost snow covered entire region . It's too risky and authorities will not alow to even go on trek starts from Gaurikund.

Kedarnath temple remains closed in December. You can't visit Kedarnath in December as the temple is closed and the weather is quite cold at that time but you can visit ukhimath where the statue of lord Shiva kept in the winter season.
