Hello George, However, the best to visit Chandrashila Trek is May, June, September and October, Chandrashila witnesses a heavy snowfall during winters, especially January and February. It will be a risky call to go for a trek to Chandrashila in winters if you're a beginners level trekker. If you're an adventure freak and a good trekker, then you can plan out this trek in winters under professional guidance. Be sure to use the right kind of winter trekking equipment, especially shoes with spikes that will help you to climb up the snow easily. Wishing you a safe journey! Thanks.
