Is it safe to plan a trip to Leh Ladakh with elderly people. I have heard that oxygen level is little low there. So was thinking if it would be safe to take my dad along who is 63 years old.

Hi guys, i was thinking of going to leh from manali. So my question is will i be able to reach leh by evening if i start my journey from manali early in the morning. I need to know how many days would it go for travelling and plan accordingly.
