Thanks for your reply , just wanted to know if you can suggest me any places in India for 2-3 days in mid august ?
You can visit Diu Daman in August. As It is Monsoon Season so you can't enjoy Water Sports specially in Diu. It's not good idea to go near Sea. If you can enjoy Sea beaches 🏖 without going to Sea then you can make a plan. I Visited Diu during Monsoon Security persons don't allow us to go near Sea

Mid-August can be a good time to visit Daman and Diu, but it's essential to consider weather conditions and any potential travel restrictions. While the weather might be pleasant during this time, with moderate temperatures and reduced tourist crowds, it's also the monsoon season in India. Daman and Diu may experience heavy rainfall during mid-August, which can affect travel plans, outdoor activities, and sightseeing. Additionally, there might be some areas prone to flooding or landslides. It's crucial to monitor weather forecasts and plan accordingly. Moreover, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it's essential to check the latest travel advisories, entry requirements, and safety protocols before planning your trip. Ensure you follow all guidelines provided by local authorities and take necessary precautions to stay safe during your visit. Overall, while mid-August can offer some advantages for visiting Daman and Diu, it's essential to consider both the weather conditions and the current travel situation before making your plans.

I am from Daman. It is very safe to travel in the region during august. However, the district of Daman and district of Diu are around 800 kms away from each other. There is a helicopter service available but booking in advance is recommeded. To reach Daman by train you need to alight at Vapi railway station and take a cab from there which is merely 12 kms. Thanks!
