Hi Niraj, While August brings in monsoons to Sikkim, it is not the best time to visit the state. Just don't include North Sikkim in your plans, and you should be good. If you can, squeeze in Darjeeling into the trip. Some must-see places include: Tsomgo Lake, Pelling, Ravangla, Rumtek Monastery, Namchi, Do-Drul Chorten, Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.
