well aditi, i think. if possible make a little delay in your schedule. postponing it will offer you many wonderful sceneries and a soothing atmosphere to roam around. u may visit munnar and Thekkady though... still i feel end of mansoon is the best time to b in kerala...

June normally will be the peak Monsoon time. If you wish to enjoy the lush green landscapes and waterfalls visit during August immediately post Monsoon.

August wil be better option if u visiting kerala.

It will be hot & humid, but in that time it will be less touristy however if weather is the main concern, suggest you to plan it between November & February

Its beginning of Monsoon and not a good time, coastal/beach area during monsoon is a very bad idea. As i have experienced similar experience in Goa

Nope. Weather will be very hot.

Plan for post September, lush green and excellent weather ( Nov-Jan is peak season and it will be pretty expensive during that time)

Hi, July is the mid monsoon month. Which means the greenery would be so beautiful, the streams and waterfalls would be full. It rains for around 8 months in Kerala. So the monsoon is an inevitable part of the experience. During the first monsoon (June to August) rains start early in the morning and subdue before noon and are generally very peaceful - no lightning and thunder unlike the second monsoon (October to December)! I think you should go! Which places are you planning to cover?
