An answer to this question would be definitely YES provided you are OK to experience some warm climate while exploring the valley (if you come from a metro city like Mumbai / Bangalore where we experience some very hot summers in the month of May). My preference would be visiting the valley in the month of June-July where the climate would be cool in comparison to the month of May and you also will be explore the valley comfortably as there will be no frozen roads.

Hi Naman, The best time to visit Spiti is the summer months of June – September. So, enjoy your fullest in Spiti Valley.

This the ideal time to visit Spiti. At this time, the snow starts to melt. A number of roads are opened too like road from Kaza to Losar. However, road from Kunzum Pass towards Manali open only in the June month. This is the time when reaching Spiti is feasible and a number of adventure enthusiasts make their plans regarding tour to Spiti. This is an ideal time to admire snow-clad mountains and play in the snow.
