The best time to visit Mcleodganj is during the months of September to June. It is best to avoid July and August due to the heavy rainfall Mcleodganj receives. so October is not off season , so may ne crowd is there. you can spend 2 to 3 days normally there.

It has become too commercialized, yes. You can head up to Dharamkot ( about 4-5 km from Mcleo ) if you wish to avoid the crowds.

Hi Mrunal, you will find less than usual crowd in October. Spend about 3-5 days there to get a good insight about the place. You can also visit Dharamshala and Bhagsu. Dalhousie isn't too far away either. Avoid going during the CBSE Dussehra vacation as it might be very crowded with vacationers.

You can spend 3-4 days there ...if you want to avoid crowd try to stay in Dharmakot.
